i love Merrell hiking shoes for their comfort and durability and these are a great alternative to tennis shoes which never fit me and are never comfortable. these are super comfortable, fit great, never need broken in and the next best thing to bare feet, i can wear them for hours! they perfect for warmer months because they are light weight and made from mostly a mesh type fabric. i'll be wearing these a lot this summer!

This is my 4th pair of Merrell Siren Sport shoes. They are perfectly comfortable on day one out of the box. We walk for fitness about 5-6 days a week, ranging from about 3 1/2 to 6 miles per day... and I use them for cardio workouts too. I do light hiking with my dogs and these shoes are perfect. I find myself wearing them everyday for running around. There was no break-in period...they give greats support, I'm flat footed and have a bad ankle and these felt great and stable right out of the box. They are also very light and I can slip them on/off without untying....I will buy more colors. There are no negatives as far as I'm concerned.

I purchased these to replace my KEENS that were too small. I wanted something light weight and durable. I live in the mountains and these shoes are great for trail running or just around town.
