walking anticipated. This Merrell was in the top 5 for
comfort/durability, etc. I usually wear an 8 1/2 in tennies
and most times a 9 in other shoes. I purchased a 9, had
plenty of room, and wore them 4 days out of 8 with comfort.
Highly recommended. On the flight after the cruise, the girl
I sat next to on the plane had on the same shoe! We both
love Merrells!
I tried these shoes on in stores but ordered them online in
order to get this style in my size. The were very
comfortable in the store, however now that I'm wearing them
for longer periods of time I feel that they are not very
comfortable. There is not much padding in the sole; they are
hard! The bottoms of my feet hurt! I'm on my feet at work
all day and thought these would be great because they are
lightweight and the laces adjust so well for different
thicknesses of socks. But so far (I'm trying to give myself
more time to adjust) they are just OK. I do love they way
they look!!
I needed a new pair of light weight, comfortable walking
shoes and was also looking for something that wasn't too
over designed. These shoes are so comfortable for walking
(with the dog every morning) but also look good with a pair
of jeans. They are not clunky at all, even in a size 10.5.
I have a friend who has the same shoes and every time I saw
her wearing them I thought to myself how cute they were. So,
of course after a while, I decided I had to have a pair. I
wear size 6.5 and have flat feet which are on the the thin
side. These shoes fit great. Because of my flat feet, I
usually like orthotics in my shoes. When I get them, I'm
sure they will fit into the shoes fine without making
everything feel too tight.
This is my second pair of these shoes. I really wanted a
different look, so it would seem like I had new shoes.
However, I tried several others and they didn't compare to
the comfort of this shoe. So, I have new shoes that are the
exact same as my old ones. The old pair has held up well, so
I expect the same for the new ones.
I have several pairs of Merrell's and I have never been
disappointed in the style or quality. This particular pair
of shoes is going to get 4 stars only because there is a
small piece of rough fabric that is rubbing on my right 5th
toe causing a small blister. However, this was easily
corrected with some slight manipulation. That does not take
away from the overall comfort of the shoe. This has the best
support of anything on the market.
I have bought this same pair of shoes twice. My feet feel
very comfortable in them. The cushion inside is just right
and I can walk miles knowing that my feet will not hurt. I
have taken "them" on long walks, trips, hikes and to the gym
and I am always grateful for the comfort they bring to my
feet. My only regret is that they only come in brown and
pink. |
